THE TICKET PRICE IS $12.50 FOR ADULTS AND $9.50 FOR KIDS. THIS PRICE WILL INCLUDE THE WHEELING NAILER’S HOME GAME IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING OUR GAME.
I CAN ASSURE YOU, THIS IS A GREAT PRICE FOR AN ENTIRE EVENING OF FUN AND GREAT HOCKEY WITH THE FAMILY. THE WHEELING NAILERS WILL DONATE $2.00 PER TICKET TO THE WHEELING F.D/P.D. TICKETS FOR THIS GAME MUST BE PURCHASED AT THE NAILERS OFFICE ON MAIN STREET. THE BOX OFFICE WILL NOT SELL TICKETS TO THE GUNS AND HOSES GAME.

“All hands working” Structure Fire
Wheeling Firefighters “A” platoon were called to 24th and Chapline Streets Thursday evening for a report of a structure fire on the 2nd floor in the rear. The box assignment sent Engines 2 and 4, Ladder 1, Rescue 1 and acting C-2 (Capt. McKenzie) to the house. C-2 arrived on scene with nothing showing. C-2 went to the rear of the structure and up the open wood stairwell fire escape and reported a fire on the second floor. He then ordered Engine 2 to stretch a line up the rear steps and onto the second floor and called a 10-96, working structure fire and dispatch sent Engine 5 to the scene. Dispatch announced the box move up and the other companies in the city moved up with Ladder 6 to headquarters, Engine 11 to Station 10 and Engine 9 to Station 2. Engine 4 arrived on scene and its crew helped hook up to the hydrant and advance to line to the second floor. Engine 2’s captain with crew and a man from Engine 4 advanced the line into the apartment, down the hallway and found the fire. They quickly knocked it down. Ladder 1’s crew laddered the windows in the rear and Rescue 1 and Engine 5’s crew did primary searches and evacuated all three floors. Primary searches were negative. After the knock down Ladder 1 vented the structure with positive pressure ventilation. The guys did an excellent job and quickly saved the structure.

possible structure fire woodsdale
Wheeling firefighters were called to Greenwood Ave. in Woodsdale Thursday afternoon for a possible structure fire. Engine 10 arrived on scene to find an audio speaker that had caught fire and charged the house with smoke. The fire was out upon arrival and companies used the thermal imaging camera to check for additional heat and fire. Ladder 1 vented the house and companies cleared. There were no injuries.

mattress fire wheeling island
Firefighters were called to Iowa St. on the south end of Wheeling Island Sunday afternoon for a report of a fire in a bedroom. Upon arrival Engine 5 had smoke showing. Engine 5 stretched a line and investigated. Crews found a mattress that had been extinguished prior to arrival by a neighbors. Firefighters vented the house to remove the lingering smoke. There were no injuries.
