DC has been known in the past as the homicide capital of the U.S. And there are many dangerous neighborhoods with some of the busiest firehouses. Engine 10 and Truck 13 in Trinidad NE, dubbed the “The House of Pain” has been the home of the busiest Engine Company in the U.S. (according to Firehouse Magazine’s Yearly Run Statistics Sheets).
