WFD: Engine 5 First Due to Possible Structure Fire

  

 
Engines 5 and 2, Ladder 1, Rescue 1 and C-3 responded to a possible structure fire on Wheeling Island at the Golden Chopsticks restaurant. Engine 5 arrived first on scene and found an electrical fire that was out upon arrival and a basement filled with smoke. Crews used PPV to ventilate the structure. There were no injuries.

Wheeling Fire Department Engine 2 “A” Platoon responding up through town to a report of a transformer on fire in North Wheeling. Engine 2 and Rescue 1 were dispatched. Companies found no fire but a breaker that was tripped. They stood by until AEP came on scene.
  

WFD: Engine 2 to MVA on I-470 E

  

 
Engine 2 responds along with Engine 11, Rescue 1, Squad 1 and C-2 to a report of a motor vehicle accident on I-470 Eastbound. Engine 2 found a one car accident with no injuries.
  

WFD: Ladder 1 to a Reported Fire

  

 
Wheeling Fire Department Ladder 1 on the way to a reported structure fire on 3rd and Main Sts. Ladder 1 responded up Market St. The fire was a grease fire that was out upon arrival. Engine 2, Rescue 1, Squad 1 and C-2 remained on the scene, Ladder 1 and Engine 5 were cleared.
